PHOTO TREKS

My Photo Treks are a great way to have an enjoyable, stimulating walk in a beautiful place, and have "real-world" photography training at the same time.

On the Photo Trek I'll show you how to see images in the world around you, and teach you the camera techniques needed to capture those images.

You don't need to be an experienced photographer, or have a complicated camera, to benefit from the Treks (although experienced photographers with complicated cameras are welcome!).  You will need a working knowledge of your camera, because on the Trek you'll be using your camera's Exposure Compensation control, and changing settings such as ISO and White Balance.  Your camera manual will show you how to do this.

Photo Treks are kept to no more than 10 people, which ensures that each person has individual attention.  They are suitable for any adult, as long as you have a reasonable level of fitness, as they can involve steps, uneven surfaces and grassy slopes. You're welcome to come on your own, as a couple, or as a like-minded group of friends.

Day Photo Treks run from 10am till 4.30pm, and half-day Photo Treks run from 2pm to 5.30pm.
